Sany Excavator Global Market Share Breaks Through 8%
On December 21, after a long journey of more than 5,000 kilometers, on the 21st, a new batch of Sany SY980H excavators arrived in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, to participate in the construction of the largest copper mine in the country.
According to reports, in addition to the SY980H ultra-large excavator, the SKT105S wide-body vehicle matched with it also weighs 100 tons. Despite the biting cold wind in the mining area in December, the overall operation of the mining area has been greatly guaranteed under the export of China’s “behemoths”. A staff member of Sany Central Asia Region said that each batch of Sany’s over 100 pieces of equipment was put into production immediately, and the overall attendance rate was extremely high.
According to reports, SY980H and SKT105S are currently the best-selling Chinese oversized excavator and wide-body vehicle products in overseas markets. Compared with products of the same level, the fuel consumption of Sany excavators is 10% lower, the attendance rate of Sany wide-body vehicles is more than 10% higher than that of competing products, and the maintenance cost is about 30% lower, which can be seen everywhere in Central Asia.
“In fact, the scale of excavator exports this year is getting closer and closer to the domestic scale, and even surpassed the domestic scale in some months, reflecting the gradual increase in the overseas competitiveness of Chinese excavators.” The relevant person in charge of Sany Heavy Industry said.
It can also be seen from the performance data that in the first nine months of this year, Sany achieved international sales revenue of 25.88 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 43.7%. At the same time, Sany’s global market share of excavators has rapidly increased, and its overseas market share has exceeded 8%. In the United States, the United Kingdom, Italy, and other major overseas excavator market countries, sales revenue has achieved a rapid growth of more than 60%.
